"I WANNA SNACK"
I hear that at least four times a day.
Like many parents, I wanted something our whole household could enjoy, delicious enough for our always-hungry cub and made with ingredients we felt good about.
That search brought me back to makhana, the popped water lily seeds I grew up eating in my South Asian home. My Amu seasoned them for us, just as her mother, my Nani, had before her. It was more than a snack — it was connection, comfort, and culture passed down through generations.
Years later, while raising my own little snacker in Queens, NYC, I struggled to find that familiar crunch on American shelves. When we shared it with friends, they couldn't believe what they'd been missing.
So we stopped searching and created Fox Puffs. Rooted in tradition, impossible to put down, and made for lunchboxes, long commutes, late-night cravings, and everything in between.
